MANILA – The Philippines said on Friday China’s coastguard used dangerous maneuvers and water cannon to impede a resupply mission in the South China Sea, and said its actions raised questions about the sincerity of its calls for peaceful dialogue.
“We condemn, once again, China’s latest unprovoked acts of coercion and dangerous maneuvers against a legitimate and routine Philippine rotation and resupply mission”, the Philippines’ task force on the South China Sea said in a statement. – Reuters
